Ludi Hinrichs and ChickenBonz take us through the colors and passions of the ancient past to the future with their powerful and compelling sound, driven by a 4 piece horn section and the splendid artistry of the multi-instrumentalists on board. Chicken Bonz lays out compositions using Indian Raga, didgeridoo with tabla, or ancient Middle Eastern melodies. The combination of musical spirits in ChickenBonz: Randy McKean, Cory Wright, Murray Campbell and Ludi Hinrichs on horns, plus Tom Hannickel on acoustic bass and bass trombone, with Joe Fajen on percussionist and we are in business! Influenced by diverse cultural exploration and musical improvisation, get ready for a fun-filled evening. Swing into Fall with these masterful minstrels for a rare show at the Schoolhouse!
Be sure to bring a sweater–this will be our last show of the season outdoors in the amphitheater. We’ll squeeze inside if it rains.
