• Just outside of Nevada City turn left on Hwy 49, following signs to Downieville.
• Drive just over 10 miles to Tyler Foote Crossing Rd. Watch for the Malakoff Diggins sign.
• Turn right on Tyler Foote.
• Stay on Tyler Foote until you reach the North Columbia Schoolhouse (about 8 miles on your left).
