Is is time to celebrate our members and we are really excited about it! Join us and fellow members on Saturday, November 5th for a rockin’ dance party with hor d’oeuvres and drinks. “Dirty Blues” will be provided by Grease, Grit and Grime.
In the cracks, under the floorboards, and down a deep dark alley, you will find Grease Grit and Grime. Embodying the expression “dirty blues,” this group is schooled in Mississippi Delta and Chicago blues. The meat of the band’s sets is comprised of originals and standards from Chicago, Delta and Swamp Blues greats. The band’s specialty is getting folks out of their chairs and keeping the dance floor hot! They choose to perform songs that don’t give you the blues, but they lift the blues up “offa ya.”
So come on out for an “Old School” style membership party, dance, eat and be merry! Because we appreciate you and we want to show you a good time as gratitude for your continued support of the North Columbia Schoolhouse Cultural Center!
Drinks and food from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Dancing from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
